Premiers ) losing in the final knockout leaving Unicorns and Beamers to battle it out for the honour and bragging rights of being the best team in the centre in 2011 and after a very close game all the way Unicorns were just to strong on the night with Beamers posting 111 being just 10 runs short in the end.

The two teams were evenly matched in most areas but it was the bowling that let the Beamers down in the finish surrendering 30 runs in wides and leg sides thus allowing the very disciplined Unicorns to take full advantage of the situation and hold the shield aloft and pocket some cash.

The Centre Championships will once again be held after next years Grand Finals with the criteria for entry being the two Grand final teams from each of the four night playing in a straight Knockout on the Friday.
